At Beach Break Live, the UK Student festival, the SKA (Student Kitesurfing Association) ran a kitesurfing comp down at watergate bay Cornwall. During the 4 day festival, we had 2 days of perfect wind, and the competition was run on Saturday with 30kts and 3m swell. It was epic. With over 40 competitors, riding in Intermediate, Advanced and Pro it was a fun event with loads of stoked people.
In the Pro class, seasoned kitesurfers such as Robin Snuggs (Flexi), Craig Smith(Flexi), and Jonathon Bleiker(Flexi) all made the effort to come support the event and ride!
Without going to into detail of all the heats, i WON :D. Pretty stoked, and it was so much fun riding with some old friends.
