I started flying kites in the Summer of 03 when i bought a little 3m. I would fly this kite everyday in anywind that could be thrown at me. I then saved up and bought my first LEI kite which was a 12m Wipika airblast. ALong with the the board that i made out of wood, i got up and riding in the Oct of 2003 during a weekend.
In 2005 i entered my first 2 comps in the juniors. The first one at portland harbour had zero wind, and the second one at Brighton had too much wind and the shore dump was too big for the juniors apparently. In the next event i did i entered the ams and finished 4th which i was stoked with.
In 2006 i moved up to the pro fleet and since then i have been moving up the rankings every year so lets hope it keeps going that way...
10 years later in 2016 things have moved on in quite a different way. I am head judge in both UK and European freestyle tour, while am an avid freerider myself. My aims being to be as creative as possible on the water and to go as big as possible.
