Tips and Tricks

This is a new section to my website that i am testing. I will be updating it each week with a little video tutorial ofdifferent tricks.

Blind Judge 3

Well its been a while since i posted my last tutorial video. This is down to my laptop braking and no shop wanting to fix it because the damage was to do with the charge socket. Ended up stripping the laptop and mending it myself. I now have all my editing software back so the tutorial videos will continue

This is the first of a 2 part tutorial for blind judge 3.

Backloop Kiteloop

The hooked in backloop kiteloop is actually a really easy trick which can look amazingly stylish. It just requires some bottle. Dont back out half way through the move

There are lots of kiteloops and backloop kiteloops in this video adam made as well. Check it out.

Back to blind Airpass

This week i will start with the back to blind airpass. To do this trick you need to be competant at unhooked backrolls and riding blind.

Go into the move with moderate speed as you would any other unhooked trick. Unhook and start to edge into a hard backloop, keeping the kite at about 45 degrees.(Having the kite low actually makes it easier). Keep edging hard against the kite, and when you feel yourself being ripped of the water, release your edge. As you are rotating, look up at your feet and bend your knees in. Whilst doing this, lean backwards to get more inverted. Steadily pull the bar into your front hip, and now concentrate on looking over you back shoulder. Let go of your back hand and reach around for the pass. As you make the pass, you should be spotting your landing. Hit the water and bend your knees to absorb the landing.
