2006 moon beach sessions Add Comment Turkey Coaching and filming 08/14/2010
 From 26th August – 14th September I’m going to be out in Gokova in turkey. Heading out with Mehmet, Catherine, James Boulding, Luke Whiteside an Hannah Whiteley.. Gonna be doing some coaching clinics out there and because my hand is still goosed im gonna do some filming of the boys and girls for steez productions. Just got back from BKSA Barrow with a win in the pros. Well stoked.. My first heat i didnt ride that well, and managed to come 3rd outa 4 people. `This meant that i had to work up the ladder the hard way,, with more heats. The wind went from from 8m weather to 12m weather. A couple of heats were pretty light, but i landed quite a few tricks. Eventually i made it into the final with ned taylor and luke whiteside. The wind dropped off just before our heat so all 3 of us decided to wait an hour or 2 because it was due to pick up.. In a couple of hours it picked up to powered 12m weather so we got under way. I had a pretty gd one in the final. i landed, railey blind, switch railey blind, s-blind, melon back-blind, switch back-blind,flat 3, shifty3, kiteloop pass, back wrapp, backmobe, prob my best heat of the year so far and it was enuff for the win... epic unfortunatly the day after, i went out after judging all day, and crashed in some shallow water and broke my hand, my right hand haha... great lol will post some riding pics n vid when i get some. cheers to gaz powel for organisin a great event   St Annes sess 07/16/2010

  So the first round of this years British tour was set for Redcar. The forecast wasnt looking great wind wise, but it was set to be scortcher, hitting 28 degrees and with promising of epic sea breazes, we all headed up with hi hopes. On the way up i stopped off at Sheffield Cable to meet Sam Light and have a session which was a great start to the weekend On the Friday it started of a beautiful day, with a light 2 knt breaze. This steadily increased to about 10-12 knts. Quite a few of the pros set up and headed out to the water expecting the wind to increase and the comp to get underway. Unfortunatly the wind stuck at this annoying speed and it wasnt enough to get the comp running. They got one of the Ladies Pros heats done, but none of the mens. The comp was called off for the day, but it ended up being a whole weekend of the same wind. A slight breaze, but never quite enough to get the comp running so we just found other stuff to keep ourselves amused On the monday, myself, Sam Light, Luke Whiteside, Dave Ibby, Scott Bourne and Adz Walker hit up Sheffield Cable again for a session. We did lots of filming and photos so these will be up soon, and it was a great session Ibby gettin raileys on his first cable sess, Whiteside nailing his Backside 5s and Sam busting out textbook frontside 7s.
